Description

This painting is my tribute to the many teachers and lineages of yoga. If there were a Yogic Tree of Life this is what I imagined it would incorporate: The tree itself would be vibrant. The soil would be rich with history, text and philosophy. Those special individuals who dedicate their lives to their practice and teach others would form the roots. The tree itself would be full of prana and channels of energy present and enlivened. The water it drank would be pure, clean and nourishing to the Soul of the tree. As the air flows through the leaves Vedic mantras of the ages would be audible.
